Updating the device firmware

A320 EFIS CUBE :

1. Go to the gateway software firmware update page.
2. Unplug the USB cable from the device.
3. Press and hold the MASTER WARN button on the device.
4. Reconnect the USB cable.
5. Release the MASTER WARN button.
6. In flashing mode, the backlighting will flash.
7. Click START to launch the update.
8. The device will restart once the update is complete.
9. That's it.

A320 FCU CUBE :

1. Go to the gateway software firmware update page.
2. Unplug the USB cable from the device.
3. Press and hold the LOC button on the device.
4. Reconnect the USB cable.
5. Release the LOC button.
6. In flashing mode, the LEDs will flash. 7. Click «Start» to launch the update.
7. The device will restart once the update is complete.
8. That's it.

A320 RMP COMBO CUBE :

1. Launch the Bridge software and go to the Firmware Update section.
2. Unplug the USB cable from the device.
3. While holding down the ATC MSG button on the device, reconnect the USB cable.
4. Release the ATC MSG button, then click on the «Start» button in the Bridge software.
5. Wait for the update to complete. The device will restart automatically once the firmware has been installed.

A320 MCDU :

1. Disconnect the data cable from the MCDU ;
2. Hold down the OVFY button;
3. Reconnect the data cable to the MCDU while holding down the OVFY button;
4. Release the OVFY button once the data cable has been reconnected. 5. Go to the firmware update page in the WingFlex Bridge software and select the MCDU device icon ;
5. Click on the «Start» button to launch the firmware update;
6. Once the update is complete, disconnect the data cable from the MCDU and return to the main Bridge software interface. The update should only take a few minutes, or even seconds, depending on your network connection;
7. Reconnect your MCDU as usual; you can now take advantage of the improvements brought about by the latest firmware.

B737 CDU :

1. Unplug the USB cable.
2. Simultaneously press and hold MENU + PREVIEW.
3. Release the buttons after reconnecting the USB cable.
4. Go to the firmware update page and click on «Start».

B777 CDU :

1. Unplug the USB cable.
2. Simultaneously press and hold the FIX + PREVPAGE buttons.
3. Release the buttons after reconnecting the USB cable. 4. Go to the firmware update page and click on «Start».

TOP PANEL A320 :

1. Connect the power and USB cables, then switch on the device.
2. Simultaneously press and hold the «APU START» and «RAIN RPLNT» buttons for 3 seconds. Release them when the backlight flashes to enter update mode.
3. Launch the bridge software, open the firmware update page, select «Equipment» and click «Start». Once the update is complete, the device will automatically restart in normal mode.
4. To exit update mode manually, press and hold the «APU START» and «RAIN RPLNT» buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The backlight will stop flashing and the device will return to normal mode.
